Judgment of a person is based on their appearance, and even if that’s not the case, appearance mainly portrays who you are. But many mistake individuality of an appearance with glamorized beauty. Humans are not born to be perfect but to be themselves in the world, but nonetheless they are put under pressure. Scientists and Doctors say that plastic surgery is the turn of the 21st century and a benefit for mankind. The bigger picture is that people started to become addicted to plastic beauty and started to become looking like everyone else. Although everyone knows of this, the addiction continues on and doesn’t that send a message of mediocrity of humans? I too am afraid of being lured into plastic beauty but for the time being, myself being addicted to music- expressing my thoughts through art is clearly enough to send a message to the Barbie Dolls out there. They should love and be addicted to people who love them instead of loving themselves, since what matters is on the inside.
